An SEO strategy that builds your website’s relevancy and authority in the desired geographic area will ensure the site will be visible for a variety of search phrases. This increases the number of opportunities for your website to be seen among results. Keyword research is still useful when trying to decide on the most interesting topics for your audience. Keywords can still be part of your content, provided that they are added in context and at the right balance. There’s no need to sacrifice the quality of your content to include more keywords, as keyword stuffing can lead to the opposite of the result you want. Ensure the number of new site visitors arriving via organic search is growing, month to month and year over year. Sometimes, all that you need are five to 10 relevant links, from authoritative sites, to begin seeing results from Google and other search engines.

Use subheadings

Relevance versus authority: these two metrics are always at the forefront of a link builder’s mind. A popular practice, and thought to be best for SEO, is to include your target keyword as close to the start of the page title as reasonably possible (so that it still makes sense). The link structure of the Web serves to bind together all of the pages that have been made public as a result of someone linking to them. Through links, search engines’ automated robots, called crawlers or spiders, can reach the many billions of interconnected documents. In order to please both the search engines (who will reward you with high rankings over time) and potential customers and return visitors, you need to offer value above and beyond search engine optimization.

Repeat keywords in your abstract and throughout the article

Voice search is picking up steam. You can now use your voice to search the web, play music, navigate home, order sushi or get the latest football results. Links and content are certainly at the top of your SEO strategy. However, Google identified CTR and user experience as major ranking factors. Increasing one will certainly increase the other as well. Determining the unique content on a page is an important part of what the search engine does. It is this understanding of the unique content on a page that the search engine uses to determine the types of search queries for which the web page might be relevant. On-page SEO is the practice of optimizing individual web pages in order to rank higher and earn more relevant traffic in search engines. On-page refers to both the content and HTML source code of a page that can be optimized, as opposed to off-page SEO which refers to links and other external signals.

Longer content gets more shares

Within the space of 3 years, it has become significantly easier to find businesses, stores or items nearby, creating a shift in user’s intent and search behavior. Users no longer have to include their location in search queries, such as inputting “coffee shops in Queens” into Google. Be careful not to focus too much on one single key phrase otherwise your site could grow repetitive, and earn a penalty. Analysis of meta sets/keywords, visible text and code to determine how well you're positioned for search engines. Gaz Hall, a UK based SEO Specialist, commented: "Back in 2011, you could use blog commenting to get 200 backlinks and quickly skyrocket your rankings on search engines. But, in today’s algorithm for search engines, the focus is on quality over quantity."

Google values the languages consumers use

Aside from offering users the best insights possible, high-quality content goes hand in hand with your backlink profile--a key element of SEO. The more links that you amass back to your website from other authoritative websites, the greater the likelihood is of improving the visibility your website receives in search engines. A website redesign presents the perfect opportunity for you to analyze your backlinks and remove the shady ones. If you use Google Webmaster Tools, you’ll see a “manual penalty” appear if Google detects one of these low-quality links. You’ll then have the option to make such links “no follows” so Google stops paying attention to them. All Javascript and CSS files on your site must be unblocked. That means Google must be able to access those files so that it can see the site as a normal visitor does. There's nothing like marketing in the minute.
